Hearts in a Cup

Image
Today I am working on Valentines for my 6 grandchildren, and a few friends. I thought this was a cute idea to show how my cup overflows with love. I used my Explore and a cut from Ashlyn's Alphabet and added some digital paper so I could print and cut. The hearts are free, the background it from Elegant Edges. I popped up the cup and then filled in the hearts. I thought it needed something extra so I added some bling and a bow. I really like the way it turned out, hope you do to and come again soon to see what I am working on.     Challenges entered: http://www.craftysentiments.blogspot.com/2016/01/anything-goes-challenge_26.html http://creativecardcrew.blogspot.com/2016/01/105-anything-goes.html   http://www.ttcrd.blogspot.com/2016/01/ttcrd-challenge-for-jan-26-feb-1-2016.html http://tuesdaythrowdown.blogspot.com/2016/01/tuesday-throwdown-tt278-anything-goes.html http://bunnyzoescrafts.blogspot.co.uk/2016/01/january-challenge-hearts.html ht...

Teacher Gift cards

Image
This week I have been working on making some gift card holders for the grandkids teachers.   The holder is from the Silhouette store and the little owl is a Miss Kate Cuttables file. I put it all together and made it into a print and cut file. I filled it with “subway” gift cards.   Subway is always a hit, it is just down the street from the school. Hope you like it and will come again soon.   Challenges entered: http://brownsugarchallenge.blogspot.com/2015/06/challenge-149-anything-goes.html http://creativefingerschallengeblog.blogspot.co.uk/2015/06/challenge-82.html http://simplypapercraftsforalloccassions.blogspot.co.uk/2015/06/challenge-6.html

Butterfly Cards

Image
Today I am making some beautiful butterfly cards. My stash has been rapidly depleted, I gave away some boxes of cards for Christmas. This is a simple card. The first has just one embossed layer and the other I put a colored layer under the embossed top. The flourish is from silhouette design store # 59369 and the butterfly is from Cricuts' Garden Cards. It is nice to have both machines running at one time, it makes everything go a lot faster.     I hope you like these and will visit again soon. Happy New Year

Image
I have a very cute card today, I made it for my sister. She doesn't do Christmas, so I wanted to make her something to ring in the new year. She moved this past summer, I don't get to see her as much as I used to. I used a design from Silhouette design store #53369 and a Miss Kate Cuttables file "banners set of 4". I wanted to write on the banner and so I used my Silhouette gold pen.  The card base is design #57422. You can't see it in this photo very well but I used glitter paper for the bubbly and a metallic paper for the background. I think this turned out super cute. Hope you like it and come again soon.  Challenges Entered: http://www.craftysentiments.blogspot.com/2016/01/anything-goes-challenge.html http://creativecardcrew.blogspot.com/2015/12/103-anything-goes_22.html http://lemonshortbreadchallenge.blogspot.nl/2016/01/challenge-6-anything-goes.html http://sweetstampsblog.blogspot.com/2016/01/january-anything-goes.html http://www.ttcrd.blogsp...

I have been working on this Cricut Explore Air project for weeks, off and on. I started it and then had to stop because it is just so time consuming. All the flowers and greenery took so long to cut and assemble. OH My....if you want a project this is it though. It turned out wonderful.  I made a few adjustments,  I added a brown center to the Big yellow daisy looking flower, and placed the little purple flowers on the stems. I think it looks great. I am putting this on the front table at Church. I had the strawberry basket I have 2 years ago, but it is looking a little run down. Hope you like this project. Come again soon.

Today I am working on getting my stash of birthday cards increased.   I had a small box of them in the car, just in case I forgot one while I was out.   You will never guess…my husband thought it was a recycle item and put it in the dumpster. All that work gone, so I am working to replenish my supply. I used my silhouette to cut most of the elements, I even used it to pen the sentiment.   These flowers are given their shape by spraying 4 layers of different shapes with ink mist and them scrunching them up and, very gently, pulling them back out. They always look good. I added a little bling to the centers.   The background it a SU die. Hope you like it and will come again soon. Well I am doing good….this is my second post for the week. Today I am trying to get rid of some of my stash. I used my Creative Memories cutting tools to make the different layers and a circle and flower punch for the accents. I find that if I leave my cards blank I can add whatever sentiment I need when the time comes.     This turned out nice. Hope you like it and will come again soon.
