I have been working on this Cricut Explore Air project for weeks, off and on. I started it and then had to stop because it is just so time consuming. All the flowers and greenery took so long to cut and assemble. OH My....if you want a project this is it though. It turned out wonderful.  I made a few adjustments,  I added a brown center to the Big yellow daisy looking flower, and placed the little purple flowers on the stems. I think it looks great. I am putting this on the front table at Church. I had the strawberry basket I have 2 years ago, but it is looking a little run down. Hope you like this project. Come again soon.

Today I am making a card for my niece, she is getting married this summer.  I used the Happily Ever After cart with a little piece of shear ribbon for her veil and some shimmer paper for her dress.  I cut out the center of the front face with a spellbinder die and then added some hand rolled flowers. The flowers are cut from the Flower Shoppe cart. I think it turned out very nice. Thanks for stopping by. I will be entering this card in the following challenges: http://clearitoutchallenge.blogspot.com/2013/07/its-challenge-time.html   http://shoppingourstash.blogspot.com/2013/07/shopping-our-stash-challenge-109-summer.html http://heather-bittenbythebug2.blogspot.com/2013/07/we-love-disney.html http://dreamvalleychallenges.blogspot.com/2013/06/challenge-60-make-your-own-flowers-or.html http://www.creativeinspirationspaint.blogspot.in/2013/07/inspired-by-anything-goes-week-2.html http://craftsandmechallenges.blogspot.co.uk/2013/06/challenge-138-anyth...

Today I am working no some paper flowers; I have been looking at a lot of how to videos lately to see who has the best technique.   I used an old mouse pad and my MS rolling tools.   I rolled the edges under and them the center to make it stand up. This flower is from Flower Shoppe the heart one. I used 2 at 1.5 in 1 of each of 1.25, 1, and .5. It could use another one at .75 but I think this one looks good. I inked all the edges, put a pearl in the center and added some Sizix Branch w/leaves, I have had this die for years and it always come in handy. The center doily is from SU, as is the background paper.  Hope you have a wonderful Tuesday.   Thanks for stopping by. I will be entering this in the following challenge: http://fantabulouscricut.blogspot.com/2013/04/challenge-me-monday-158-paper-roses.html http://onestopcraftchallenge.blogspot.se/2013/05/challenge-227-flower-power.html I am going to link up this card to http://www.pinkcricut.com/201...

Happy, Happy Friday everyone hope you have a great weekend planed.   I hope to see some of my grand children play ball on Saturday.   I pulled out the ornamental Iron2 and flower shoppe cartridges today to make this card.   I also used SU paper, glossy accents and a little glitter. I went to JA Tuesday, they have some great savings on their craft items that are mostly 50% off, I really stocked up on adhesive.   I have tried a lot of different adhesives to close and put these rolled flowers on a card, a lot of them don’t hold very long, the flowers are just too heavy.   I have found that hot glue is the most reliable way to make it stay where you put it.    Hope you have a wonderful weekend. Thanks for stopping by. Today I am working on getting my stock of birthday cards back up.   With mom being sick, before she passed, I didn’t work in my craft room very much.   Then right after she passed I didn’t feel like it.   I really need to get back to work.   I went to SU regionals on Saturday and the friend that took me tried to get me to sign up, I don’t think so, I love my Cricut too much. I like my SU stamps and the paper is awesome, but I don’t want to only use it.   There are just too many great things out there for scrap bookers and card makers. Back to the card I made. I made this with a garden theme for the challenge at pink by design.   I love magnolia stamps. I only have 4; but I use them often. Here is one that I colored with Prismacolor markers, added a few rolled flowers from the Flower Shoppe cartridge and some pearls.   I think it turned out good and will add it to my card box.   Thanks for stopping by have a wonderful week. Wow it had been a long time since my last post. My mom has not been doing well and has had a few doctor appointments to go to after she got out of the hospital last week. I was going through some of my boxes, after moving last year I still have a lot of stuff packed away. After 30 years in one place you get a lot of STUFF, I am still sorting through it to see what I can give away. I found a few of photos that need to be put in the album. The first photo was taken outside the Grapevine community center in 2000. The second photo was taken in Rhome, TX at a Christmas get together. We haven’t changed much but we are still, even after 38 years, very much in love. I used flower shoppe for the flowers and cut a flourish from home accents and added some leaves from a sizzix die along with some pearls from say it in crystals.  The circle with hearts cut is a MTC file. Hope you have a wonderful remainder of the week. Thanks for stopping by. I will be entering this in...

My daughter only has one more semester of nursing school and she wanted me to make a card to give her instructor.   She will take her last class this fall, wished they offered it in the summer so she could get finished, so does she.     I found this cute image at http://www.pinkcatstudio.com/ .   I have been looking for something and just happened upon this one. Blue is the color of her college uniform so I tried to match it as close as possible.   I added a few flowers from the flower shoppe cartridge and a sentiment from TBBM2.   I used a spellbinder to cut out the digi print.   I like the way it turned out and I hope my daughter does also. I will be entering this in the following challenges: http://www.thescrapbookingqueen-challenge.blogspot.com/2012/04/queens-royal-digi-challenge-8.html http://www.paperplaytime.blogspot.com/2012/04/ch-73-anything-goes-blog-hop.html http://dreamvalleychallenges.blogspot.com/2012/04/challenge-31-for-s...

Today I am making cards to get my stack up.   I need to send some cards to operation write home.   Most of the cards I make are for that organization.   I have a copulation of markers that I have gotten at different stores.   I used SU, Bic and Prismacolor for this design.   Here is my list of items used: The paper is from SU, the color is pear pizzazz I used my new SU fresh vintage stamp to make the print paper The stamp is an American Art, couple in love.   I think I got this at HL many months ago Flower Shoppe flower center page 17, sunflwr1.   I cut in white and them spray with color I make using SU ink and perfect pearls. The leaf is a Martha Stewart punch in chocolate chip The ribbon is SU pear pizzazz Then I added some Imaginisce bling The circle was cut with a Fiskars circle punch I am entering this in a blog challenge: http://www.paperplaytime.blogspot.com/2012/04/ch-71-april-showers.html http://365cards.blogspot.com/2012/04/day...

Today I have been working on flowers from the Flower Shoppe cart and 2 SVG files I got at Birds Cards, http://www.birdscards.com/ .   She always has the most wonderful designs. The SVG file, rolled rose and rose leaf, I started out at 3 in an went down to 1.5, I made the leaf a half size smaller.   I cut them out of Megan Elizabeth Paper layers.  They turned out nice; however, the larger the rose the harder it is to turn down the petals.   I will have to use these on a box or other project, except the smallest one.   The pink Flower Shoppe ones are the scallop1 design, the yellow ones are the daisy 1 and the blue one is sunflwr 1.   They are all cut from standard white card stock and then colored with spritz I made from SU inks.   I did two sizes 2.5 in and 2 in, they turned out great and I can’t wait to use them.   This size is just right for a card.   Hope you like this, have a great weekend.

Today we finally got totally moved out of the other house.   All cleaned up and ready for the new renters.     After that I worked on the first 2 flowers in the Flower Shoppe cart.   I got it a few weeks back when JA had it on sale.   I have been wanting it for a while and just picked it up.   I have to admit they did not turn out the way I thought.   I love the centers and think I will use them by themselves.   These are both cut at 3 inches an colored with SU inks. The light pink one I added some glossy accents and glitter, the darker one I spritz.     Hope you like these, have a wonderful day.
