Well I am doing good….this is my second post for the week. Today I am trying to get rid of some of my stash. I used my Creative Memories cutting tools to make the different layers and a circle and flower punch for the accents. I find that if I leave my cards blank I can add whatever sentiment I need when the time comes.     This turned out nice. Hope you like it and will come again soon. Life just gets so hectic….It has been a while since my last post. I am trying to get in shape. I didn’t realize how much time that takes away from the other things I like to do in my “free time”.    Today I am posting a wonderful card that I made using a silhouette store design, and a sizzix daises 2 flower cut.   This flower has a large hole in the center, so I filled it with a SU brad. I added some bling on the cut sections of the card base. Yellow is my favorite color, so I added a piece of shimmer yellow paper, behind the design. This turned out nice. I saw this super cute card on the silhouette blog and just had to make it for a friend who is battling breast cancer. I used a pen to finish the banner, rather that print it. It turned out so cute. This week my granddaughter has wanted to make flowers. We found some awesome ones at Silhouette online store.  They are a little large; however,  they look great, and she is happy with them in a vase or her hair for school. We are working on some other ones and a vase we found. Hope to have them finished soon.  Hope you enjoyed looking at these and come again.

Today I am working on a scrapbook page from this summer.  The kids haven't has very many days in the pool, we have had a couple of mild weeks and the water hasn't had time to warm up. This is one of the good days. I have some other photos for the second page. These cuts are from the silhouette. I did them as a print and cut. The Good times label is from the Cricut Imagine. Today I am posting two cards with different styles. They are the same flower image but stamped and colored differently.   The first is a regular black ink and pencil colored. This one is softer and the color has a brushed quality.        The second is embossed with black powder with spectrum noir colored (PP3, PP5). This one is very bold and has a great shine; however, the color looks a little plastic. I just can’t get the hang of blending….no matter how hard I try.         The white backgrounds are both Cricut cuts from elegant edges, I welded a border to a triangle from storybook. Today I have made a scrapbook layout for the photos I took last night and the ones I will take today. I worked in Cricut craft room to make the header, if you would like the file just let me know. The fireworks are from stand and salute, the little boy is from A child's year and the font is songbird.
