Today I am working with some new cards using the imagine. I haven't used it an several months but it is always fun to go back and see what is in the booklets. Today I am getting ready for my Mother’s day with a spring strawberry plant for the Silhouette store.  This turned out so cute, it only to me 3 hours to put together, of course a lot of that time is spent inking all the edges. I think my daughter will like it in her kitchen. I thought about putting candy in the pods, but thought the grand kids would take it apart too soon for her to get a good use out of it. Here is my list of items used: The paper is from a Stamp n Up. Real red and old olive are the two primary colors. The silhouette item for this plant is 57287; I went on Jamie Lane web site, Bits of Paper, to get the assembly instructions. This has been a great weekend, my grandson stayed all the time with my husband and I.  He didn't even want to go home after his parents go back.  Great times. I had a little time to make a card for a sick friend, hope you like it.  I found this wonderful strip sticker with the fence and flowers. I added the chicken from the Country Life cartridge and punched some clouds. I have a wonderful garden this year and have been spending lots of my time in it this spring. The only problem is we are not getting enough rain, so I am watering.  Keeping the weeds out has proven to be a chore. I did have some time yesterday, because of a cold snap, and spent some time in my craft room.  Here is a lovely card I made. I used some lovely digital doted paper, and flower I got in the Silhouette store. This digital paper is wonderful...with the paper piercing and chalking of the flower edges. I cannot believe it has been 3 years since I started this blog. I don’t get a chance to post something every day, but I do love putting my creations out there for all to see. Thanks to all who stop by and leave a comment.  It is so nice to hear from you and see what you have posted. Today I am working on an Easter card for the grand-kids. I used Teddy Bear Parade to get this super cute Bunny-Bear, that I put on a action wobble. I used pastel colors on the background and die cut paper.  I added some faux stitching at the top and bottom and a couple of die cut eggs. This turned out super cute and I just love this bear. I am still working on getting my stack of cards up. Here is a nice card I made using the Art Nouveau cartridge and a new die for the background. I then added a pretty butterfly. Today, as is most days, I am working on cards.  I just sent off a batch to OWH and I need to get my stack ready to send out again. Next week will be spring break and I thought I would do a spring like card. I just love the Teddy bear parade cartridge and this little bear for St Patrick's day. I used some stickles on his pot of gold and hat band and lots of green paper.  Hope you like this and will come again soon.
