I was looking at my Cricut Magazine yesterday and decided to make the paper roses that I saw on page 34. They turned out wonderful. I put them on a small box that I made for my daughter’s birthday present.
I cut them out of white paper and then inked them with SU crushed curry. I used an SU stamp, dot, dot, dot with soft suede, to accent the flower more. The leaves were linked with the soft suede as well. I then added a little zip dry and glitter to the edges.
The paper used for the 3.5 square box was from K&G, one 12X12 sheet. I used the reverse side for the top.
The flower was super easy to make and turned our great looking. Both flowers and leaves were cut from the Mothers Day cart. I used my hot glue gun to put the layers together, rather than zip dry, so I would have more time to line them up and stagger the peddles.
Thanks for stopping by, hope you enjoy this project.
