Rhinestone shirt

Today I am trying something new with my Silhouette. I told my granddaughter I would make her a volleyball shirt for her birthday. I watched a few wonderful videos at the rhinestone world.com and learned a few thing about heat vinyl and rhinestones. I watched a few videos about how to do it with the Cricut; however, you have to have a separate program to develop the cut file in to import to Design Space.  I don’t have any of those, I know inscape is free; but, I will have to read up on it first.

I purchases the t shirt at Michaels and the rhinestones at Hobby Lobby. They have a limited selection, so I ordered some others at the rhinestone world site. The font is Impact and the die cut is #5833 for Silhouette store. This was fun, although it took me 3 tries to get the rhinestones in the right placement on the shirt.  But it turned out wonderful. She is turning 12 and it will look great on her.

Hope you enjoyed this post and will come again soon.
