Wow it had been a long time since my last post. My mom has not been doing well and has had a few doctor appointments to go to after she got out of the hospital last week. I was going through some of my boxes, after moving last year I still have a lot of stuff packed away. After 30 years in one place you get a lot of STUFF, I am still sorting through it to see what I can give away. I found a few of photos that need to be put in the album. The first photo was taken outside the Grapevine community center in 2000. The second photo was taken in Rhome, TX at a Christmas get together. We haven’t changed much but we are still, even after 38 years, very much in love. I used flower shoppe for the flowers and cut a flourish from home accents and added some leaves from a sizzix die along with some pearls from say it in crystals.  The circle with hearts cut is a MTC file. Hope you have a wonderful remainder of the week. Thanks for stopping by. I will be entering this in...

Today I am working on a few things.   I had time to take a photo of my craft room for the Cricut blog. Also as this week is teacher appreciation week I took some time to make a few cards for the grandkids. I stopped by the Subway and picked up some gift cards to go in them. Teachers do so much for the kids. Our children are with them almost every day, and they have such an impact on their young lives. It is so important that we support the good ones. I made a side step and then 2 regular A2 cards. I designed everything in the CCR and used carts: A Childs year, Doodlecharms and Locker Talk. These turned out super cute, I found some scraps of paper from a DWAV paper pack, long gone, and that had a school theme. Sorry that the top photo is so out of focus, I would retake the photos but that are already gone. Hope you have a wonderful evening and be sure to come again.

Today I am recycling a used coffee can to put my color pencils in.   I put an old mouse pad in the bottom so the points will not get broken on the metal bottom of the can.   This makes it much easier to find the color I am looking for.   I decorated it with flowers from walk in my garden cartridge and a butterfly from home accent.   Hope you have a great Wednesday.   Come back often and see what else I have made. I will be entering this in the following challenge: http://fantabulouscricut.blogspot.com/2012/04/save-earth-cricut-crawl.html
