Today I have been working on a beautiful birthday card.   I purchased this print over a year ago and don’t remember where I got it.   (I got it at Tiddly Inks)  I have changed my habits and know put the web site on the file name. If anyone knows where this came from I will make mention of it. Today I have been working on card for a guy friend that is turning 50. I always have a problem with making cards for guys; I can’t always think of a cool design. I think this one turned out nice.  I used storybook cartridge for the numbers and ribbon and rosettes for the star background.       Hope you like this and come again soon to see what I am working on. Today I have been working on a plaque for my scrap room.   I painted the canvas yellow and then used dark blue vinyl for the word collage.  I love the way this turned out, I hope to make more for the grandkids rooms.   Hope you like this and come again soon to see what I am working on. I think I am finally getting the hang on Silhouette design studio. I got my Portrait a few weeks ago and I love it, and used it today to make a few designs. It cuts the most intricate designs with a clean line.    Don’t get me wrong I have a Cricut and loads of cartridges; however, I love being able to make my own designs.  The summer is finally over and the grand kids are back in school. I spent some time today getting organized in my craft room and even had time to make some Christmas cards.  My wonderful husband gave me Teddy Bear Parade last year for Christmas and a new laptop of my birthday this week.
