I got around to working on my thank you cards yesterday.   Now that my daughter is working I am watching the grandkids.   We are having lots of fun swimming and playing around the house.   I love these cuts for the art nouveau cartridge they turned out so nice, this is the flower on page 31.   The first one I fixed using the template at 365 cards sketch 151.  The paper pack is DCWV latte matstack and some Martha Stewart pearls. Thanks for stopping by hope you have a great week. I will be entering this in the following challenge: http://365cards.blogspot.com/2012/07/day-151-super-sketchy-sunday.html http://ppp-makeitmonday.blogspot.com/ http://www.tammyscrapincorner.com/2012/07/weekly-challenge-21-anything-goes-with.html

Yesterday I had a chance to work with my gypsy a while and get some cuts laid out from the Art Nouveau cart. These cuts are just wonderful and they turned out nice too. I prepared my machine with a new blade so that the thin cuts would come out well. I put them in my gypsy on different pages based on color. That way I could load one piece of paper at a time and gets lots of cuts, 9 in all. I did the same thing with the florals embellished cart and hope to get some good cuts from there in the next few days. In the next few days I will be putting together some cards. I noticed that the poppy and the rose are very different in the way they stand out. I will be inking all my edges on the next set, it really made a big difference. My church is having a fund raiser for a new building and I am making thank you cards.   Hope you enjoy this, these are beautiful cuts.   The rose on page 24 and the water lily on page 27 were cut at 2 inches; all the others were cut at 3 inch...

Wow it has been a while since my last post.   Summer is such a busy time, with the grandkids out of school and living right next door; we have such a great time.   Today I am working on a card for my best friend’s husband.   I found this stamp at M, I am not sure who they are by, I already took them out of the original package.   I used SU early espresso ink and DCWV “the natural stack” paper.   I always have a hard time with cards for guys; I just can’t find a good theme.   I used the computer for the sentiment and the inside of the card. Hope you like this and have a wonderful Wednesday.   I will be entering this in the following challenge: http://365cards.blogspot.com/2012/07/day-130-super-sketchy-sunday.html
